I’m happy to announce I’ll be speaking at the 2013 WordCamp Milwaukee!
My†presentation†is titled “Why is my site so freakin’ slow?!” We’re going to talk about simple ways to speed up your WordPress site. I plan on covering everything from plugins like W3 Total Cache, to server technologies like nginx, and reverse proxies like CloudFlare. We’re also going to take a look at common plugins that slow your site down.

Excellent topic! Look forward to seeing you there. I’m curious what kind of ‘plug-in’ technologies are available – I’m used to coding a lot of custom solutions, so anything to save time on my own blog is always helpful 🙂
